Reform UK MP Lee Anderson has strongly criticized Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch after she accused his party of copying Tory immigration policies. The Ashfield MP expressed his frustration, responding with “dear oh dear” to her claim that Reform was merely “copying our homework” on immigration proposals. Mr. Anderson staunchly defended his party’s stance on leaving the European Convention on Human Rights, asserting that Reform would continue with its plans despite any criticism. The disagreement arose after Ms. Badenoch stated that any effective aspects of Reform’s immigration strategy were borrowed from Conservative policy and suggested that Nigel Farage’s party had not done the necessary groundwork to implement such measures.
