Did Reform UK Just Admit They Lied?

Reform UK ran a local election campaign based on cutting waste and not increasing council tax. But Reform UK councillors now say there is no waste to cut, and they’re going to have to put up council tax, probably by the maximum amount in some councils. So, Reform UK have officially admitted that they won their elections on false pretences.
