Prince Andrew reportedly tried to obtain personal details about Virginia Giuffre through his police protection officers in 2011, according to new UK media reports.
Giuffre, who accused the Duke of sexual abuse linked to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, died earlier this year. The Met Police confirmed it is looking into the claims, while Buckingham Palace declined to comment.
Reports allege Andrew asked officers for Giuffre’s date of birth and social security number, just before a newspaper published a photo of them together. Andrew has always denied all allegations and settled a civil case in 2022 without admitting liability.
