Charles Moore remembers that it was in 1975 – when on a gap year in Paris – that he was asked what he thought of Margaret Thatcher.
Twenty-two years later, Moore sat down with Margaret Thatcher in the private office in Belgravia which she had used since being deposed as prime minister in 1990, to interview her for the first time for the biography she had personally anointed him to write.
