The King arrived at Westminster Cathedral without the Queen for the funeral of Katharine, the Duchess of Kent.
The Queen pulled out of attending due to illness, Buckingham Palace said.
The Duchess of Kent’s funeral is “a significant historic moment not just for religion but for the royal family too, hers is the first Catholic funeral for royals in modern times”, Sky’s Laura Bundock reports.
