‘GET ON WITH IT!’ Tories DEMAND action as Labour delays allow for EARLY RELEASE of violent criminals
Tory MP Nick Timothy took to the dispatch box Tuesday for the opposition day debate on the early release of prisoners.
Hundreds of prisoners are currently slated to be released from prison early in September, including rapists and child sexual abusers. Timothy called for Labour to provide action as Prime Minister-to-be Andy Burnham had said that he would oppose the move but would almost certainly lack the time and power to do so because of having to wait until Labour’s Leadership Contest will have concluded.
