How wealthy are you for your age?

How does your wealth compare with other people your age? 👀

These figures show the median household wealth for different age groups in Great Britain, based on ONS data.

And “wealth” means much more than the money sitting in your bank account.

It includes:
🏠 Property wealth, after mortgages💷 Private pensions📈 Savings and investments, after financial debts🚗 Physical wealth, such as vehicles and possessions

So if you’re working yours out, don’t forget your pension or the equity you have built up in your home.
One important point: these figures are NOT targets for how much you “should” have at each age.

They simply show the median wealth of households in each age group, meaning half have more and half have less.

The figures come from the ONS Wealth and Assets Survey covering April 2020 to March 2022, the latest detailed household wealth data available.
