Pramod Poudel travelled from Sussex to Nepal to search for his family members after catastrophic floods devastated the region, killing at least 1,000 people. He’s described the ‘sickening feeling’ of not being able to get hold of his loved ones – his newly married wife, mother, sister and uncle are all missing, feared dead after their whole village was washed away. His father is the only known survivor of his immediate family.
