Warning from Goldman Sachs boss
One of the world’s top bankers has warned that the government must do more to make London attractive to financial firms.
David Solomon, chief executive of Goldman Sachs, told Wilfred Frost that Brexit and changes to the industry meant “talent that was more centred here is more mobile”.
Speaking ahead of a meeting with the prime minister, he urged the government to follow “a more growth oriented agenda” if ministers wanted London to remain attractive to bankers.
