Reform Councillor Laila Cunningham has dimissed allegations of racist behaviour against Nigel Farage whilst he was at school are a ‘political attack’.
When Lewis Goodall was asked whether we should take ‘all accusations of anti-semitism seriously,’ Cunningham replied: ‘you can’t take every accusation, especially in the political sphere, seriously’.
In another interview with Lewis Goodall, Sir Sadiq Khan revealed the long-lasting impact of the racism he faced as a teen adn criticised Nigel Farage for trivialising accusations against him from his school days as “banter”.
