How Reform UK is judged to have run its councils could determine whether voters trust the party to one day run the country, ITV News Political Correspondent Harry Horton reports.
Exactly four months ago, Reform swept the board in England’s local elections. The party won almost 700 seats, and took control of 12 councils and two mayoral authorities.
It was the first opportunity for Reform UK to demonstrate what it could do in power – knowing its new crop of leaders would face intense scrutiny from opposition parties and the national media.
