It seems as though the vultures are circling in the Labour party. After a year of blunders and u-turns in government, and the resignation of Angela Rayner and sacking of Peter Mandelson just this month alone, there are rumours of moves behind the scenes to replace Keir Starmer.
Andy Burnham – the Mayor of Greater Manchester – is the name being talked up.
