Maddox highlights that Starmer’s earlier decision to recognise Palestine as a state may have “completely ruined our relationship with Israel,” reflecting a slide in the UK’s standing on the world stage.
Graham asserts that the UK has been “completely and utterly bypassed” and is no longer seen as a close ally by either the US or Israel, suggesting that Britain should be “ashamed” of its failure to be “front and centre” of such a significant global event.
