NHS staff will be prohibited from wearing pro-Palestine badges and other politically themed symbols at work as part of a crackdown on antisemitism announced by Sir Keir Starmer.
Updated guidance on NHS uniforms will instruct staff not to display any items linked to political causes.
While clothing or accessories such as scarves, shirts, or badges promoting political messages will be banned, religious symbols – including the cross and Star of David – will remain permitted.
