UK council cancels Union Jack art display amid fears of offending visitors
IPA Research Fellow Mia Schlicht comments on a Labour-run council in the UK cancelling an art exhibition featuring Union Flags over fears it could offend, scare or put visitors at risk.
“The left’s cancel culture, they will always end up eating themselves,” Ms Schlicht told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.
“I think it’s pretty clear that this council is offended by the Union Jack … they don’t like their country, they are not proud to be in the UK, and that’s been made pretty clear.”
