The Conservative Party as a political force is dead, Nigel Farage claims today, insisting he would deliver a better opposition to Labour than the Tories after the general election.

He says different factions in the Conservatives “hate each other” and predicts “worse” internal battles after a defeat than the recent feuding which saw two leader switches in 2022.
Mr Farage forecasts that Reform will win more votes at the election than the four million which Ukip, the insurgent party of the Right he once led, secured in the 2015 election.
